Eco and Health Fortnight 

 

We have been working very hard to get our
next award and we are getting closer to
achieving a green flag award.

To launch our ECO and Health Fortnight on
the 15th June we are going to be hosting
a 'Green Day.' On this day everyone is
encouraged to wear something green to school
or a green themed costume!

Over the fortnight the ECO committee have been
very busy planning lots of activities for the whole
school to take part in. We will be going to the
Botanics, doing spring cleaning around the
neighbourhood and making some ECO artwork.

 Well Done P5 and Mrs Lawrie!

 

P5 have written a fantastic school ECO song

which the whole school recorded and the CD

is on sale for thebargain price of £1.

All proceeds will be donated to Father David's
Memorial Fund which aims to raise money
for L'Arche.

Each week members of the ECO team collect
recycling from all the classes and have been
busy making posters to encourage us to
Reduce, Reuse and Recycle and be better
friends to our environment.
